I am a designer in Arkansas, by way of Massachusetts, Arizona, Germany and Italy. I am an associate professor in the Art Department at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville doing mainly web and motion design work, as well as teaching upper-level visual design courses. Much of the work I do is for local agencies such as DOXA and Haden Interactive where I am chief designer. At former positions, I’ve worked with Marriott, MTV, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, Verizon and the American Bankers Association. I have presented at conferences for College Art Association, Museums and the Web, New Media Consortium, MODE Motion Design Education Summit, Siggraph, and WordCamp.
I’m working on a documentary film about the Karlsruhe military community in existence from 1945-1995.
You should also know… history is my passion. I study World War I, Winston Churchill, Charlemagne and Alcuin of York, the Cold War and various other topics that interest me.
